Training NX CAD Drafting

The course covers the area of CAD NX drawing processing. The course teaches the NX environment and all the tools of the Drafting application.

Course participants

This course is intended for designers who use NX to create 3D drawings. The course participant will receive training materials in an electronic form.
Completion of the NX CAD Modelling course is a prerequisite for the training.

Course content

• NX environment

• Gateway and Assemblies – operational functions for drafting

• Creating a new drawing, drawing sheet and editing it

• Creating a drawing from 3D geometry – adding views, sections and details, editing and settings

• Centerlines, dimensions, notes, tables, surface finish symbols, weld symbols, user defined symbols

• Sketching in drawings

• Drawing of assemblies – sectioning assemblies, hiding components in views, creating explosions

• Drawing of assemblies – working with attributes to fill in a title block and a BOM, inserting, setting and edit-ing of BOMs, balloons
